"Feel The Love" Contest

Ever wondered what it is like to be a musician who gets paid gigs? It's hard to make it as a musician in the world today, but with Leaf Trombone: World Stage you can perform anytime anyplace. The “Feel the Love” Contest is your chance to get some cash money for your performances as well as feel some much-needed love for your artistry and hours of practice … well maybe not hours of practice, because you don’t even have to know anything about music to join in the fun!!!

All you have to do is get the most love for your performances on the World Stage in Leaf Trombone. We will be running the contest bi-weekly four times in a row, awarding $500 to the performance with the most love at the end of each 2 week period. Of course if it seems like people really like the contest we will keep running it, so check back here for updates! Woot!

How to enter and get love:

1. Perform a song on “Leaf Trombone: World Stage”, wait for your performance to be judged and take note of the “Session ID” in the lower left of the judging screen.
2. Complete the sign up form on the right side of this page so we can contact you if you win, and agree to the official rules of the contest.
3. Encourage your biggest fans to download the free version of Leaf Trombone (or if they already have the full version use that), enter the Session ID in the Observe menu on the World Stage, and then once the performance has started they can tap the heart to increment your love count.

Come back to this page to stay updated on the top loved performances and follow @smule on twitter. We will be giving out Leaf Trombone promo codes throughout the contest to our twitter followers and on the Smule Live Broadcast every Monday at 7pm PDT.

Contest Time Frame

The Contests will begin Monday of each 2 week period at 12am PDT and end the following second Sunday at 11:59pm PDT. So only performances in that time period will be counted. Winners will officially be announced Monday nights at 7pm PDT on the Smule Live Broadcast.

But how do I get the most love?

In order to make sure you get the most love, here are a couple tips:

1. Perform at the beginning of each bi-weekly period. The earlier you perform, the longer you will have to let your fans know of your performance and get some love. Plus you can get featured on the "Popular" songs list in the app if you get enough love up front.
2. Tweet your session ID's on Twitter, update your friends on Facebook and Myspace, and make videos on YouTube. You can also enter your twitter account info in the "Settings -> Alert Settings" page so Leaf Trombone will autotweet the Session ID each time your performances are judged.
3. Once again keep an eye on the top loved performances on this page to see if you are on top, as well as follow @smule on twitter for regular updates.
